Tryout Schedule for 2012 Fall Season

The Lionville Soccer Club, under the umbrella of the Lionville Youth Association - LYA, will be holding tryouts starting in April 2012 for the season that runs June 2012-May 2013. The tryout schedule is posted below. Teams are seeking talented soccer players who would like to play in a highly competitive environment. Tryouts are open to all boys and girls in the Downingtown Area School District, with allowance for talented outside DASD players on each team.

New this season, the club may carry two teams within each of the U10 and U11 Boys and Girls and U12 Girls age groups if there is enough player interest and qualified volunteer coaches. Contact Travel Soccer President, John D'Angelo, if you are interested in coaching one of these teams.

If your child plans on attending a tryout, please contact the coach so that the tryout can be planned accordingly.

Items to wear/bring to the tryout:

• Shinguards are MANDATORY
• Soccer ball
• Water bottle
• Completed Tryout Registration Form

  Directions to Martin's Farm Park - From Rte 113 heading towards Downingtown, turn RIGHT onto Devon Drive. Rossi's Golf will be on your right. Follow Devon Drive to Deep Willow Dr and turn RIGHT. Follow one stop sign to Laurel Moors and turn LEFT. About half way around the circle will be the park entrance on the LEFT. The entrance is between two houses. Martin's Farm Park is at the bottom of the hill.

Note: Attendance at all tryouts is NOT mandatory. However, players are encouraged to attend both tryouts if possible, in order to give the coaches more opportunity to evaluate the player.
