Matt Dockstader - Girls U-9

• Varsity Starter for 4 years at Bishop Shanahan, Captain 3 years

• Played 4 years at WCU and was Captain Junior and Senior Years(1992-1996)
• Selected all League Junior and Senior Year
• Awarded Umbro First Team All-American

Doug Pusey - Boys U-10
Doug has coached LYA intramural soccer the last 2 years and looks forward to fielding a competitive U9 boys travel team for the 2010-11 season.  He has also enjoyed coaching LYA baseball and Upward basketball the last 2 years.  He grew up playing for West Chester United soccer club and played Div III soccer at Gettysburg College.  Doug and his family live in Uwchlan Twp

Jen Gibbons - Girls U-10
Licenses: USSF "E" License, NSCAA: Advanced Regional, Level VI
Jen grew up playing soccer on travel teams with the Hempfield soccer club and on the varsity team with Hempfield High School.   She began playing select in ’93 and joined the first girls U-14 premier team with Lanco United (now Penn Legacy) and was a starter for all four years.  This team qualified for the Watford cup in England and played teams in Denmark and Sweden, which completed an undefeated season.   Jen has coached various recreational teams since 2006 and was an assistant for the Lionville U-9 girls travel team.  Professionally, she is a certified trainer and has worked for eight years as an independently contracted Strength and Conditioning coach for a variety of athletes.  She will pursue a National Diploma with NSCAA next year.

John D'Angelo - Boys U-11
In his first year as the U9 Boys Travel team coach, John lead his newly established team to their first Championship title in a highly competitive division. γ€€John took his 15 years experience as a player and coach to teach the importance of teamwork and learning the fundamentals of the game first. This strategy paid off, as the boys grew together and bonded as a team to reach a level of play far beyond the U9 level. John will continue to build his team with the goal to participate in the 'Premier' division in a few years. John and his team also attended many tournaments across the Eastern Coast and placed in all of them, allowing the team to gain valuable experience playing a variety of Clubs. John still holds the title of President of Lionville Soccer Club and will start working with the local professional teams (Philadelphia Union and Independence) to bring more experience and exposure to the Lionville Soccer Club..

Scott Platt - Girls U-12
Scott is in his 4th year as Head Coach of the Lionville Storm.  The Storm have had great success in its first 3 years accomplishing 3 Titles, 5 second place & 5 third place finishes in tournament play.  In 2010 the Storm finished in 2nd place in their PAGS division with a 7-1-1 record.   In addition to coaching the Storm, Scott has over 7 years experience coaching recreational soccer and softball teams. He and his family reside in Uwchlan Township.  Scott has also taken an active role in partnering with the  Philadelphia Independence Professional Women’s Soccer team with hopes of providing the Lionville Storm and Lionville Soccer Club an opportunity to be exposed to professional soccer by organizing group outings to games, participating in pre-game events, training, and meeting the pro players.

Matt Rogers - Girls U-12
Licenses: USSF "D" License, NSCAA: Regional Goalkeeping Certificates
Matt has worked with Lionville Soccer Club for over 8 years, having coached the LSC Tornados (boys) from the start of their U-9 season through the end of their U-14 season.  The Tornados enjoyed a great deal of success on and off the field, highlighted by several tournament titles and a three-year unbeaten streak in regular season DELCO League play (U-12, U-13, U-14 seasons).  He has also served as a goalkeeper trainer for several teams, including the Lionville Storm this past season. Matt has been involved in soccer as a player for over 25 years, competing on several local club teams, at Owen J. Roberts High School and Elizabethtown College, and traveling overseas to represent the United States in Belgium Cup '97.  He currently plays in several competitive adult leagues in Wayne, Manayunk, Oaks, Lansdale, and Northeast Philadelphia.  Matt is also in his 7th year as a 4th grade teacher in the West Chester Area School District.

Mike Meluskey - Girls U-12
Mike has 16 years experience coaching boys and girls in both youth sports and Middle School sports at various levels.  He has 5 years coaching youth soccer at the recreation level with GEYA and is entering his fourth year as an assistant coach with the Lionville Storm.   Mike and his family reside in Upper Uwchlan Township.

Susan Barr - Boys U-12
Licenses: NYSW "D" License

Susan Barr has been coaching soccer for over 17 years.  As a player, she grew up playing in NY, attending Cornell University as 4-year starter and All-Ivy player.  She continues to play competitively in the area. Her coaching experience includes Head Coach at Columbus North HS in Columbus IN, coaching at various travel clubs and focusing on individual and small group training for top players in the area. She has served as VP for GEYA Soccer and has coached with Spirit, Phoenixville, and Columbus Express clubs.  She holds a "D" license through NYSW soccer and plans to obtain a National "C" license next year
R. Shawn Archambault - Girls U-14
Licenses: State "E"
Shawn has been coaching soccer for 8 years, 5 of which have been with LYA travel teams. Shawn currently has his E coaching license and will be working on his D license this August.
